World of Wonder
is a weekly illustrated feature page devoted to exploring educational themes and examining the realms of history, science, nature and technology. Well-researched and beautifully illustrated in full color, World of Wonder's sophisticated graphics clarify a wide variety of subjects and concepts. World of Wonder is available in full - standard and half - standard sizes.

Developed for children and young adults but enjoyed by readers of all ages, World of Wonder's information and sophisticated graphics clarify the most complicated subjects and concepts. in addition, puzzles, word games, and activities give participants a chance to apply what they have learned. Teachers and parents can use this weekly page in and out of the classroom to encourage further learning.

Created in 1997 by Laurie Triefeldt, an award-winning graphic journalist, World of Wonder demystifies subjects such as "storms," "castles," "bugs," "ships," "Vikings," "night creatures" and "ancient Greece." Written in a reader-friendly style and accompanied by colorful illustrations, World of Wonder gives the reader mini-lessons on everything from predicting the weather to the lifecycle of the Monarch butterfly. Triefeldt's work has been published in more than 80 newspapers including USA Today. She has worked for The Courier Post and The Windsor Star, contributed to Gannett News Service and United Feature Syndicate, and is currently an artist at the Newark Star-Ledger. Educated in Canada, Triefeldt is a graduate of the Ontario College of Art and the University of Windsor. Triefeldt and her husband, Rein, an internationally known sculptor, have lived in the United States since 1989.
